Cornflakes kunafa is a twist to the traditional arabic sweet with a twist of replacing kataif dough with cornflakes. crunchy ,soft kunafa soaked in sugar syrup.
Kunafa is a traditional arab sweet…those who are residing in gulf countries will never miss tasting this sweet…these has been prepared in varied form ..dough can be prepared with kataif ,semolina, breadcrumbs ,vermicilli..can be filled with cream/cheese etc…
Here crunchy cornflakes are used instead of kataif /kunafa dough…creamy cheesey filling in between the crunchy cornflakes..soaked in sugar syrup.. unlike other type of kunafa this cornflakes kunafa is soft .usually its served hot but i think it worth trying in both hot and chilled… I also recommend to keep this chilled for 15 minute in fridge before serving in order to make it set..Also it would be better if its prepared in a single serving bowl and baked.
